As generative AI tools become more widely integrated across the California Community Colleges, DSPS professionals, faculty, and administrators are exploring how to support accessibility without altering course outcomes. Drawing on real-world case studies from across the state, this webinar explores the practical, ethical, and equity considerations of using AI as an accommodation, including distinctions between established assistive technologies and newer generative AI tools.
Participants will gain practical strategies and discussion points for accommodation requests, faculty concerns, equity implications, and training needs while supporting students and maintaining academic integrity and shared governance.
